I. Online Quotes /Bookings / Reservations
Online quotations in terms of price and time/distances are for guidance only and are subject to verification and approval/acceptance by management. Express Transfers are not bound to accept a quotation that is generated incorrectly because of some bug or glitch in the price database. Suburb to suburb quotations are not always accurate.
We only accept online bookings for the next day or later and reservations are always processed during office hours (Qld time). For last minute transfer bookings please contact us by calling 0459345593. If you email within a short period of the required Transfer time we cannot guarantee your request will be fulfilled. If your booking for your transfer is made by telephone, your reservation is also subject to, acceptance of the terms and conditions described on this page. An online booking is not a confirmed booking until such time as Express Transfers verify the booking details and send you confirmation of the booking details with a reference number. If you attempt to make an online booking and do not receive a confirmation email and booking reference number, please feel free to make telephone or email contact with us. We cannot be responsible for online bookings that contain incorrect contact details which make it difficult for us to verify the booking details. Bookings made with unverified details may remain as unconfirmed bookings. All online bookings are subject to vehicle availability. If we are already booked then we will advise via reply email as soon as possible.
If your Express Airport transfer includes two or more passengers, the person making the reservation shall be deemed to do so on the basis that he / she acts as an agent for both or all members of the party and accepts the service conditions on behalf of each member of the party. Customers whom make bookings over the telephone or via email are deemed to accept the terms and conditions of this website as if they made the booking online and accepted the terms and conditions during the booking process even though they did not make the booking themselves online. Pick up times are at the sole discretion of the passenger, Express Transfers provide guidance only in the form of typical travel times and distances. Allowances should be made for the time of day, peak traffic congestion and weather conditions. Passengers should make their own enquiries with regard the correct checkin close off times allocated by the airlines. Express Transfers will not accept any responsibility for customer nominated pick up times that result in missed flights or checkins.
Payments must always be settled prior to the vehicle’s departure. You can pay directly to the driver on the transport day or you can pre-pay online using our secure online payment system. Payments to the driver must be in cash or credit card, we do not have an eftpos facility available.
Our online payments system is provided by the secure Eway payment gateway. Eway is a trusted facility which links our website with our bank. Your transfer receipt will be emailed to your email address supplied at the time of the booking. Bookings made with immediate payment via the secure payment gateway are subject to availability. Full immediate payment is not deemed to be a confirmation of the transfer. A full refund will be immediately made if we are unavailable when your booking is required.
Online payments refund policy: if you cancel your Express Transfer booking you will be refunded within a week for the total amount paid. All cancellations must be made by email and acknowledged by us by return email. Please note that a merchant service fee charge applies for payments with Visa, Mastercard credit cards. Please note that a merchant service fee also applies for payments with American Express and Diners Club credit cards. These charges are strictly non-refundable. Payments by cash do not include transaction fees. Please note that these rates may be subject to change without prior notice.
III. Booking Amendments and Cancellations
If your booking is changed or modified up to two days prior to the transfers date booked then no fee will be charged, if the booking is changed within 2 days of the transfer booking date then the Manager will use discretion as to the fee amount to be charged. Merchant Service Fees are not refundable.
Failure to meet a transfer without an emailed cancellation notice and receipt of same from us will result in a “no show” 100% forfeiture. To cancel a transfer on the service day, we would appreciate you notify us by direct email or phone call. If you arrive at an Airport please make an endeavor to locate our driver a refund will only be provided if our driver fails to attend the Airport or pick up place, no refund will be considered if the driver is in place but you neglect to contact or locate him/her. To make amendments to your transfer details you must first cancel your previous reservation and then submit another booking from the website with the correct information. Please advise us via email of your intentions and we will do our best to consider it )within our current guidelines) to make the required refunds.
IV. Insurance and Guarantees
We are a fully licensed transfers business. Accredited with the, Transport and Main Roads Department – Qld. Operator accreditation # Q900457577. Our company is fully insured, having commercial comprehensive car insurance and public liability. If for any reason within our control we fail to deliver the passengers to their confirmed destination, we will provide a suitable replacement transportation, such as a car or a taxi.
Any reimbursement for the costs of an alternative transportation to get to the ticketed destination shall be no more than the cost of getting to that destination by normal public taxi. We are not responsible for delays before or during the an Airport transfer caused by external reasons such abnormal weather or traffic conditions.
V. Passenger Transportation
We reserve ourselves the right to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and / or whose behavior is considered inappropriate by the driver. Smoking and alcoholic drinks are not permitted in our vehicles.
Unless told otherwise each passenger is expected to carry no more than two luggage items, one standard size suitcase and one carry-on bag. Any extra or special luggage must be declared at the time of booking in the “Additional information” field. We will not charge any extra for special luggage but do not guarantee its transport unless you previously advised us of such items.
